Lecture 11: Separate Chaining Wrap-up, Load Factor, Open Addressing [Advanced Data Structures]
In this lecture, I discuss more on hashing. I finish up my discussion on separate chaining and then introduce the idea of the load factor (and how it relates to separate chaining, and practical considerations you may have when using it). Then, I move to talking about open addressing, the idea of a probing sequence and discussing linear probing. I apologize in advance for this video having a little bit of a strange blur that appears into it. Want the notes, and/or want to support my mission?
