In this lecture we continue to provide examples of problems where the greedy approach (making local optimization steps without regard to the global structure of the problem) leads to global optimal solution. In this lecture we consider interval partitioning we we need to assign the minimum number of classroom to lectures such that no to lectures are scheduled in the same class at the same time.
