The second lecture on auditory perception starts with the multi-modal speech perception known as McGurk Effect. We will also talk about how mirror neurons play a role in speech production and perception and some challenges to the motor theory of speech perception. This lecture closes with the general auditory approach to speech perception and Fuzzy Logic Model of Speech Perception (FLMP).
