LEELA — Psychedelic Sitar Dub Groove
A playful fusion of sitar, Indian percussion, deep dub grooves, and hypnotic electronic rhythms. Built around an uplifting 85 BPM pulse, Leela moves somewhere between ecstatic dance, psychedelic downtempo, and late-night flow state music. This is not a traditional meditation track. It’s movement music. A slow-burning rhythmic journey designed for creativity, dancing, driving, stretching, dreaming, and losing yourself in the groove. The word “Leela” comes from Sanskrit and translates to divine play — the cosmic dance of existence itself. Not striving. Not forcing. Just rhythm… movement… flow. Created during my ongoing 3AM songwriting experiment — a creative ritual exploring what happens when music emerges in the quiet hours before sunrise, when the analytical mind softens and intuition begins to lead. Floating sitar melodies weave through earthy percussion, spacious dub-inspired drums, and hypnotic rhythmic layers — creating a sound that feels both ancient and modern at the same time. Part of the ongoing 3AM songwriting experiment. — To sign up for my newsletter: Please visit my website and use the signup box on the bottom right-hand corner of the landing page: Mat Creedon Official Website Subscribe to my channel: Mat Creedon YouTube Channel Follow me on Instagram: Mat Creedon Instagram Follow me on X: Mat Creedon on X Like Mat Creedon School of Music on Facebook: Mat Creedon School of Music Facebook Hang out with Mat Creedon on Facebook: Mat Creedon Facebook
