Lego Stop Motion Editing and VFX Tutorial
This video has been requested a lot I thought the best way to show you how I edit my videos is by breaking down one of them. I focus on specific examples but try to keep the explanations broad enough so you can apply them to other things i.e: showing you how to composite the laser effects, but the same principles apply if you were to add gunshots or explosions. I also didn't want to go super into detail on each individual thing otherwise this video would have been 2 hours long. I hope this is a good middle ground and you can find some use out of this video :) If you have any more questions leave them bellow and ill try to answer as many as possible 👍 Chapters: Intro 0:00 Masking 0:25 Fake Cam Movement 0:54 Compositing 1:50 Heat Distortion 3:10 Minifigure Sacrifices 3:40 Blood Rain 4:15 Laser Slicing 5:22 Orange Neon Glow 5:55 EZ Motion Blur 6:45 More Camera Movement 7:03 Outro 7:34 References (in order of apperance): Cooking with Homelander - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8R9Sm5HPW8 Hitfilm - https://fxhome.com/product/hitfilm Lego Camera Stand - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pwpEgzaJ1k&t=16s burning Minifigure (I didn't want to destroy another figure lol) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlOcDcqvivQ CapCut - https://www.capcut.com Custom parts from Firestar Toys: https://tinyurl.com/y5zjaj8l Use code: FSNETBRIX for 10% off :) TikTok: @netbrixofficial Instagram: @netbrixofficial Music: https://www.youtube.com/c/WhiteMambaBeatz Filming: Stop Motion Pro Editing: Imovie Camera: iPhone 11 Any questions leave them in the comments bellow and i'll answer as soon as possible.
