Afterglow" is equal parts love-lorn and hopeful, fun and self-aware. It's about finding the right person at the wrong time. Trying to make sense of the feeling of simultaneous connection and disconnection from a new found love. "I wrote this track during the pandemic summer of 2020 while thinking back to summers of the past- specifically when I met the love of my life, who was moving back to the east coast for college.
