Leonardo OnLife Project

The Leonardo OnLife project aims to extend the lifecycle of digital devices and maximise the value of every component by introducing a circular economy model applied to workplace assets. OnLife stems from the collaboration between Leonardo’s Sustainability and Digital Solutions, combining digital technologies – from automation to artificial intelligence – with circular processes that reduce consumption, emissions and the use of raw materials, while generating social value for the communities where the Group operates. The goal is to transform the traditional process of managing discarded PCs and monitors into a concrete opportunity, structured around three main drivers: ♻️ PROSPERITY - devices are refurbished and reintroduced into the secondary market, helping fund the project and future donations. 👥 PEOPLE - as part of the HP Hope program, the refurbished equipment is donated to non-profit organisations supporting digital inclusion in areas most affected by the digital divide. 🌍 PLANET - non-reusable devices are processed through advanced recycling to recover critical raw materials (CRMs), reducing emissions, environmental impact and reliance on primary resources. The project, reflects Leonardo's strategy leveraging on sustainability as a concrete competitive advantage, generating measurable value for business, the environment and society.
