I had a very pleasant chat with Max AKA LEOPOLD. Leopold is a DJ and radio host hailing from North London with a passion for music of all shapes and forms. Having been exposed to a lot of soul and jazz at a young age, this influence has been ever-present since he first put a needle to a record. A short stint producing at the now renowned NTS Radio led him to start his own show 'The Natural Element’, now a monthly session on Soho Radio. The show is a feel-good journey into his expansive taste, blurring genre boundaries and merging the old with the new. In recent years he has been resident at the esteemed Spiritland in Kings Cross and appeared at festivals such as We Out Here, Kala and El Dorado.
