4 cups of water
2 cups 5% vinegar
1/3 cup salt
Garlic
Dill Seed
Hot pepper (optional)
Mix water, vinegar and salt to make a brine
Bring the brine to a boil.
Add 1/2 tsp of dill seed, 1 garlic clove, and a pepper (optional) to the jar. Pack the okra pods into the hot jar.
Add the boiling brine to the jar to a 1/4 inch head space, debubble, and process 10 minutes in a boiling water bath.
