Let your conscience be your guide.... -Al-Kahattab Misguided Reasoning: • Completely trust your conscience (instinct) as a God given, internal indicator of what is right or wrong. • If you have a "_peace_" about something, or a decision or action (an absence of guilt), it must be okay. Redirected Reasoning: • The idea that your conscience is a completely trustworthy moral guide is a myth based on faulty assumption. • The truth is that your conscience often doesn't tell you that you are violating God's standard.
