Let's Modify a NES Controller to Use it with a Commodore 64

Do you remember how good the Competition Pro joystick was in our early days :-)? I do... Of course I bought one for my C64 and was... disappointed. Today, it feels not very comfortable and using it actually hurts me after a while. So I thought why not modify a NES controller so it can be used with the Commodore 64 and the Amiga? So here, in this video, I follow the instructions of a well made tutorial page I found. I also ran into a stupid problem which could have been easily avoided by reading everything to the end... :-). But did the controller work at the end?
