Hi everyone, welcome to this new video! I hope you are all well: D Today I show you a small integrated called lm3915. This integrated is used to show sounds via LEDs (vu meters). The LM3915 is a commonly used logarithmic display driver IC for displaying audio signals. It can drive both 10 LEDs. It is possible to increase the LED output by cascading more ICs. This ic has two display modes: bar and dot. In the next video we will see these 2 modes. The IC also allows you to easily program the reference voltage and current of the LED according to the application by selecting the right value of the resistors. In this video to test the integrated I used a 10k potentiometer to test the signal and the LED display. When the resistance of the potentiometer is varied, the LEDs light up or go off.
