The acrylic of older hatches is typically crazed by exposure to UV. Few vendors are willing to replace the lens at less than 70 percent of the price of a new hatch. But the acrylic is a stock item for most plastics shops, who can also cut and drill to the pattern of the old lens. Installation is easy. Video 2012.
