LFPAK Vs DPAK: thermal performance comparison

When designing with MOSFETs larger devices are often chosen because of their thermal handling capabilities. Using a fuel injection demo here we investigate the use of Nexperia’s LFPAK56 copper-clip MOSFETs, which offer 53% space efficiency whilst maintaining comparable thermal efficiency to DPAK alternatives.
