What do you do when the world feels too unstable to build anything? CS Lewis asked the same question in 1939, weeks after Britain entered World War II, standing in front of students at Oxford. His answer changed how I think about calling, work, and what it means to actually live.
This is the commencement address I delivered at Kansas Christian College's graduation, Class of 2026. It draws on Lewis, Jeremiah 29, Philippians 4, and one honest question every generation has to wrestle with.
Build anyway.
