In total there was a little over 130 m² of line markings, each at 10 cm wide. The whole removal process took around eight hours to complete from start to finish. One of the fantastic benefits of using this system is it there is really no mess left at the end of the job. The lorry sucks all of the debris following the line removal and uses clean water in the high-pressure jetter. The warehouse was taken over by a new client who wanted to convert the Lorry loading bays into car parking bays. The goal was to create approximately 200 bays for existing staff members. Using a herringbone pattern for car parking bays we managed to achieve just over 205 bays, surpassing the original expectation. This was achieved without going over budget. The works are carried out in December 2021 and the line marking itself is shown in another video. To install the lines we used an MMA system supplied by Veluvine in the Netherlands. This was applied using a Graco line laser 5900, ES 1000 and, 3900. Using a high-pressure hydro-blasting lorry, supplied by THB, we removed all of the lines before starting the relining process. This process uses high-pressure water to effectively remove paints and thermoplastic from the ground and is far less damaging than scarifying or scrabbling. You still see some marks left by the jetting system but it's far better than anything else on the market. 00:00. intro 00.30. Drone footage of the line removal 01:00.
