Linear Variable Differential Transformer & Tachogenerator

It is displacement measuring device, works on principal of mutual induction. It consist of cylinder having primary coil mounted at center energized by external source. and two secondary pick up coils are placed on either side of it in phase opposition. Core passing through Primary & pickup coils provides magnetic coupling.
