The Linnstument is a revolutionary grid-based expressive MPE controller. In my first (very rough) video here I demonstrate and compare different approaches for configuring that grid. Note: after making this and talking to others, I would have different recommendations for fingering patterns than I am using now. For example not sure thumb anchor makes sense.
The bottom line is that there is no "perfect" layout. (Spoiler: but there is one that I prefer!) I'd love to hear your thoughts, either here, or even better on the Linnstrument discussion thread here:
