In this video I demonstrate a simple lintel design example as a practicing engineer. Lintel design is very basic but still just as important to know as any other design. Whilst you won't need to use it too often in new build projects, in refurbishment projects you will often come across plenty of areas where lintels (especially concrete lintels) are used.
