Linux: it keeps getting better for desktop computing

In February's Member video, I'm looking at whether Linux is now ready for prime time - i.e. could an everyday, non-techie user install a Linux distribution without friction? I've installed Fedora and Steam on my ASUS G14 gaming laptop to investigate.
