Just Clips was founded in Queen Creek, Arizona, in 1989 by John Cronin, a United States Navy veteran. The company pioneered the manufacturing of retainer clips and o-rings to support the repair of cordless and pneumatic impact tools. Just Clips also developed specialty tools and equipment specifically designed to remove, clean, and install retainer clips on impact tool anvils. The company grew steadily, expanding its product line with specially designed rings for Milwaukee tools. In 2026, when John Cronin was ready to retire, Lisle Corporation acquired the company and relocated it to its headquarters in Clarinda, Iowa. When sockets fall off your impact wrench, it’s time to replace the anvil retaining clip and o-ring. Just Clips’ specially developed products make repairs an easy task on air and battery powered impact tools, including Milwaukee® brand tools. Our patented Snap Ring Pliers quickly remove the old ring. The patented CLIPKEY® is the answer for easy installation of new clips on impact wrenches from 1/4” to 1”. Just Clips Pro Tool Kits Kits include clips and o-rings for standard and/or Milwaukee brand applications (see table below) covering most air and cordless impact tools on the market. Clips and o-rings for Milwaukee brand tools are slightly different in size and are reddish in color for easy identification and should only be used on Milwaukee brand tools. Black-oxided standard rings are used with all other air and cordless impact tools. All tools and parts are kept in a plastic molded box with spots for all tools, clips, and o-rings. Each tool kit includes: Patented Snap Ring Pliers for removing rings from 1/4" to 1" Patented CLIPKEY for installing 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" rings 6 clips and o-rings for 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" tools Small tool kit containing: O-Ring Remover Hook Deburring Pads Hex Wrench Just Clips Sets & Packs Designed and manufactured for pneumatic and cordless impact wrenches. The 1/4”, 3/8”, and 1/2” sets come with 3 clips and 3 o-rings. The 3/4" and 1” sets come with 1 clip and 1 o-ring.
