The word 'literacy' means an ability to read and write. In a civilized country, every citizen should learn how to read and write. if not, he is called an illiterate person. India is sthe seventh-largest country by area, the second-most populous country in the world, the literacy in India is marked with a great amount of regional variation from one part to another leading to uneven literacy rate acorss the country. The goal of this project is to provide answers for various questions on uneven distribution of literacy rate in the country and help improve the literacy rates of different states.
