Limited edition handmade artist’s book that compares earth’s geological timeline to the brevity of human life. It draws on the Meditations of Marcus Aurelius and the sequence of geological periods with their mass extinction events. This book was initiated during a residency in Wyoming in the shadow of the Bighorn Mountains. The unique French Door cover houses two facing drum-leaf booklets, with text and digital images made from monotypes and polyester lithographs.
