I love "secure default" libraries and APIs. Developers can automatically implement critical functionality more securely by using these secure default APIs. Crypto is one such area, where secure default libraries make a massive difference. In my live code, session tomorrow, I am going to explore the very impressive and underrated crypto library LibSodium (NaCL) and its misuse resistant features. LibSodium is a modern, easy-to-use software library for encryption, decryption, signatures, password hashing and more.
