I needed another hanger for the hallway in my house, I decided to make it in the rustic style, as simple as possible, but I was too lazy to turn mushroom hooks. But recently I finally decided and turned them :) Hooks and sides are made of maple. The tree Elaeagnus angustifolia is called Russian olive or oleaster. These boards were sent to me by my friend Sergey @Sokolovwood who also sent me another mallet, this time made of walnut and apricot. As usual, this video involves a lot of handwork with a plane and chisels and of course a saw, but I also had to use a drill and a jigsaw. During the process, you could see a few troubles, for example, when I started to cut grooves in the shelves but forgot to plane the boards first, because if I plane them later, there will be a gap between the side and the shelf, but I managed to remember in time and cut only one groove and nothing terrible happened, and you can also see in the video how a piece of the side broke off, but I also easily glued it back and in the end nothing is. As always, finished it with tung oil. Thank you for watching my videos, Sincerely, Yurii. Support me and my channel on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/c/user?u=79085475 https://youtu.be/_LDUsdwQgUs
