Live from the Lab: Orientation Analysis with DIFFRAC.TEXTURE

The performance of high temperature superalloys used in the blades of jet engines and the flexible molecular chains in a polymer have one important thing in common. The orientation of their microscopic structure dramatically influences their macroscopic properties. In this episode of Live from the Lab we will show how raw data can be analyzed in DIFFRAC.TEXTURE to determine the direction and degree of orientation in materials.
