SETIAN (Sebastian Gonzalez Dixon) performed live at EXPANDED CODE LIVE in Bogotá, Colombia in August 2025 as part of a joint curation between Creative Code Art and the Bogotá Experimental Festival. Since early 2006, he has been creating immersive environments, technologies for the performing arts, and electronic musical instruments through his studio, Setian. Sebastian has developed various artificial intelligence systems that translate body movements into algorithmic sound and visuals. He also specializes in the development of 3D virtual environments for the Web, augmented reality, software and content for dome mapping and stage design, interactive museum installations, and theatrical productions. His artistic work, both solo and collaborative, has been showcased at events such as Sonar Festival Barcelona, Flussi Festival Naples, Merge at CPR Brooklyn NY, Visual Brasil Barcelona, ArtBo Bogotá, CosmoCaixa Barcelona, Plataforma Festival Berlin, the S-Gallery in Sakai, Japan, and the Ibero-American Congress of Digital Arts in Guatemala, ArtTek, among others. In parallel, Sebastian leads the musical project Lumen Club, through which he produces electronic music influenced by Melodic House, Intelligent Dance Music, and Latin American sounds. Lumentum is a new variation of the work Momentum, specifically focused on a two-part live act: one part as a hyperformance with the instrument, and the other as a live music set in which the instrument is used by the audience in interaction with the music of Lumen Club.
