Download Beat DJ here: https://www.soniare.net/beatdj?f=yt_137 whats new in version 1.3.7: - new `durations` commands to set durations of chops - added new `undo` and `redo` commands that work on individual sounds.. some things like joins can't be undone yet - removed `granulate` command because it has been replaced by `roll` which is non-destructive - `pattern` and `bundle` commands are now non-destructive - added a `scroll` command to scroll the logs and sound list in multiplayer sessions - added a "chooseFile" option to all inputs so you can choose a file instead of typing it in - added a "chooseFolder" option to all inputs so you can choose a folder instead of typing it in - squashed a precision splitter bug that caused it to not work with some files - added the option to choose the number of parts to split a sound into when using the `separate` command - reduced the automatic fade out on chops to let samples breathe more - added a `cinch` command that removes 1 16th note from the longest chop when using negative numbers. Positive numbers will add 1 16th note to the shortest chop. - made pitch detection about 4x faster for long sounds without sacrificing accuracy - performance overhaul. cut seconds off of sound loading/editing times. - more uniform attack fade on rolls - added a `grid` command that is the same as pattern without the 3rd variable - added a `loopLengthFit` command to snap the end of the loop to the length of the sound - improved project loading speed - added a `bake` command to render the track in place so it can be processed further. this solidifies the sound to be whatever you hear currently. - added a `rollMelody` command to give the rolls melodies which can be used for complex patterns and sound design - improved bundle so it plays back more smoothly when you make changes which should help with live performance - improved themes so they are stored in the database and can be created with the `aiProgrammer` command - added automatic `grow` call when using `mel` and `dur` for a smoother composing experience. so extending the melody or duration will automatically grow the sound to fit the new length. - added `transient` information to to the `print` command so you can see the transient value of chops - added durations to the `print` command so you can see the duration of chops - added "at" as a keyword for the `loopIndex` command.. testing to see if this helps because i often mistype in as i - you can now add scales with step sizes instead of ratios like sc e 17 4:1:3 - slightly improved speed for commands on groups of sounds - `arrange` now works with musical input times like 4p3b and it shows the arrangement in the sound name - a new `sing` command for singing/rapping melodies with text to speech
