Lo-Fi - Roads

Lo-Fi was an Icelandic one-man project by Friðgeir Eyjólfsson, who self-released in 1998 a concept album called "Nano", influenced by trip-hop and progressive rock, but also with ambient elements. He was going to release a sophomore album around 2004, that was dubbed "Nightsongs" and included collaborations with a female vocalist whose identity remains unknown to me, before disappearing off the face of the Internet with only a promo EP called "Fragment of Nightsongs" that was released in very limited edition, as well as a bunch of demos that went on circulating in the inner circles of the trip-hop community - "angel04", "Johnny's Mind", "Nightsong" and "Song 2" (some of these even better than "Nano", which was not bad at all given the modest means of production). Apparently, you can find him now on LinkedIn - will someone tell him to release his scraped material? Also, "Nano" is no longer available after CDBaby went down the train...
