READ BEFORE LOADING FILES (5 STEPS) *This pack requires your Nautilus to be running OS 1.3.3 or higher *If you have any previous Narfsounds Folders on your Nautilus, DELETE these from your HD and REMOVE the associated KSC files in the KSC Autoload Page Included Files in the download: Narfsounds Nautilus Ultimate Covers 121 Folder (548MB) 1. Nautilus Ultimate Covers 121.PCG 2. SETLIST Ultimate Covers 121 Load Separately.PCG 3. Narfsounds SAMPLES Data Folder 4. LOADING INSTRUCTIONS Ultimate Covers (this document) STEP 1: Backup your PCG: On your Nautilus, Go to Media Mode, Save Tab, Dropdown Menu upper right hand corner of the screen. Select Save PCG, Set All. Name your file BACKUP and press OK. STEP 2 Copy the files to your Nautilus HD Upon downloading the Narfsounds Nautilus Ultimate Covers 121.zip file to your computer decompress/unzip to the file to reveal the Narfsounds Nautilus Ultimate Covers 121 Folder. (Some computers will automatically unzip the .zip file) 2. Copy the Narfsounds Nautilus Ultimate Covers 121 to a USB Stick 3. Insert the USB stick to your Nautilus USB A port 4. Go to Media Mode, Utility Tab, Drive Select, RDD (USB Drive) 5. Select Narfsounds Nautilus Ultimate Covers 121 6. At the dropdown menu select Copy 7. Go to Drive Select and choose HD: Internal HD 8. Select Paste 9. Remove the USB Stick from your Nautilus STEP 3 Load the PCG: Go to Drive Select and choose HDD:INTERNAL HD Select Narfsounds Nautilus Ultimate Covers 121 Press Open Select Nautilus Ultimate Covers 121.PCG Press Load STEP 4 Load the SETLIST: Follow Instructions Carefully In Media Mode, Select Narfsounds Nautilus Ultimate Covers 121 Press Open Select SETLIST Nautilus Ultimate Covers 121 Load Separately.PCG Press Open Select Set Lists Folder Press Open Select 000 Ultimate Covers 121 and press LOAD Select an Init Setlist Slot or one you are happy to replace and press OK If you have inadvertently overwritten your Setlist Mode, Simply open the Backup.PCG in Step 1, Select the Setlists Folder and LOAD. STEP 5 Loading the Sample Data Go to GLOBAL MODE, KSC Autoload Press Add KSC In HDD:INTERNAL HD Select Narfsounds Nautilus Ultimate Covers 121, Press Open Select Narfsounds SAMPLES Data Folder, Open Select Narfsounds Sample Data UC121_UserBank.KSC and Add. Check that size is 134k Check that file size is not Zero Disk Size, press Do Auto-Load Now, and press OK You can now play the sounds in Set List Mode. The Combis are located in Bank F. Programs are located in Banks P, Q, a, b, c and d. If you encounter any issues, please refer to the TROUBLE SHOOTING guide below. These have the problem in bold type, possible causes and the solutions to the issue. Trouble Shooting: Files will not open Illegal File message displayed. Cause: The zip file was not decompressed and loaded into Nautilus. Solution: Unzip or decompress file with your computer and copy the folder to USB Stick. Cause: If you’re using an Apple Mac, garbage files were created in your USB stick with an underscore before the filename and 4kb in size. (_filename) have been selected. Solution: Locate the correctly named files with the correct file sizes. Some notes are not sounding, SAMPLES NOT LOADED message in Program or Combi, In Disk Autoload Page, file size for SGC SAMPLES_UserBank.KSC is Zero (0) Cause: Narfsounds Nautilus Ultimate Covers 121 Folder was not copied into the Nautilus HD from the USB Stick Solution: Copy the Narfsounds Nautilus Ultimate Covers 121 Folder USB to the HD of the Nautilus and follow Step 4 Instructions Cause: If you’re using an Apple Mac, garbage files were created in your USB stick with an underscore before the filename and 4kb in size. ( _Narfsounds Sample Data_UserBank.KSC ) and the wrong file was selected for autoload. Solution: Locate the correctly named Narfsounds Sample Data_UserBank.KSC file with the correct file size Cause: Narfsounds Nautilus Ultimate Covers 121 Folder was copied in a folder within another folder and is too deep from the root directory Solution: Copy and paste the Narfsounds Nautilus Ultimate Covers 121 Folder in the Root Directory of your Nautilus (do not put the folder within another folder) Missing sounds in some notes in the Combi. But no Samples Not Loaded Message. Cause: Some sounds have been programmed that way and intentionally have no sounds in places where they are not meant to be played. Solution: Watch the YouTube Videos and follow the performance notes in the included Setlist. Don’t play the notes that aren’t meant to be played.
