Localization | MCreator Procedure Tutorial
Today we covered everything you need to know about adding translation support to your mods, why localization is important, and how it actually works for players who change their game language. We walked through the Localization tab where translations are defined, then moved into procedure blocks to show how you can retrieve translation key values and use them dynamically in-game. Along the way, I shared practical in-game examples to show how translations behave from the player’s perspective. We also took a look at where localization files are stored inside your mod’s workspace folder so you know exactly what’s happening behind the scenes. 💠 BUILD INFORMATION ► MCreator: 2025.3 ► NeoForge: 1.21.8 💬 SERIES This series is designed to teach you everything I know about the procedure system, starting from the basics and gradually increasing in difficulty.
