«Migratory locust dissection» is a scientific movie and a pedagogic document mainly intended for Biology students that will also interest any fascinated by animal biology. This video belongs to a series of movies showing the organisation of animals representative of main Vertebrate and Invertebrate groups. The HD images, macro-photographies, 3D animations and schemes of this movie show the amazing morphology and the secret anatomy of insects. Movie’s chapters describe the morphology, the mouthparts , the general anatomy, the respiratory, digestive and reproductive systems of the animal. « Migratory locusta dissection » was created by Animal Biology teachers and realised in the Multimedia Service Center of the Lille 1 University (France).
