My overall impression of the Log Wizard is that it gets the job done but is much slower than peeling bark with the spud (if the sap is rising). The problem is that when the sap is not rising in the winter months, the spud is really not an option. A drawknife would work but I'm not in love with the drawknife method... been there done that.
