Wow - I was blown away this past week when I was given a very precious gift. A longtime fan of real Country music, Shawn Tully and the Texas House of Representatives gave me the certified Texas flag that was flown at the Texas Capitol in MY honor on October 11, 2022. The document enclosed with the flag states that the flag was flown in honor of my 79th birthday and for 60 Years of Music. This surprise just blew my mind. Thank you Shawn Tully, the House of Representatives and the great state of Texas for this tremendous tribute. I’m so proud to be honored in this way. #Texas
