Loop like a Boss: MAKE A MAP
Universal to all pedalboards and all looper pedals, as you increase your board size and number of musical functions, the physical arrangement of your pedal functions can become tough to remember. So, you need to create a layout that it is easy for you to use. Let’s find that layout together! Rather than slapping pedals on the board right away, you need to first plan it. This will help you find a layout that is accessible, personalized, intuitive, and flexible without all the cable management. I will be using example layouts for the RC-600 and the RC-505mkII, but this applies to ALL LOOPER CONTROL BOARDS where you need to layout your functions. I won’t stress a specific layout, but I hope I convince you of THE METHOD to ease your stress: making a digital map! A template to get you started: https://cuzolio.com/blog/make-a-pedal-map-nov2025 In #ALaMode, we discuss looper pedals, functions, and which ones should be physically near or far from each other to improve your workflow, both on and off the stage. It’s that extra something that makes your performance better- a little ice cream on top of the pie. In today’s video, we are talking high level layout. #ALaMode, #PedalMap, #Cuzolio, #AboutLooping, #RC600, #RC505mkii, #SheeranLooperX, #LoopyPro, #Ableton, #LooperErgonomics 00:00 Intro 00:55 Progressive Example 02:18 Make A Map 03:57 Save It Online 04:25 Personalized To You 04:48 Make It Intuitive 05:42 Explore Layouts Early 06:22 Wrap Up
