Here comes part 2 of the Loop Station Tutorial series “HowToLoop”. ** Don’t forget to subscribe or leave a thumbs up ** Social Media: Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/LoopsUnlimited Homepage: http://www.LoopsUnlimited.de In this Video I will show you, what overdub means, and how to do it using a Boss RC-3 Loop Station. Overdubbing confused me a lot in the beginning. I though, that a singe track Looper was build to record and play one loop. The idea of layering sounds was kind of spooky! When I finally got the idea, I found out, that this is so much fun! I started layering so many loops, that the final result sounded, aah let’s say “interesting.” The more experience I got, the better I understood, how I could use overdubbing for creating songs. So this is one of the key skills you need, in order to make music with a looper. The undo feature is a life saver! Either, when you are a beginner and not every take ist the perfect one or when you are advanced and you go on stage with your loopstation. I even started to practice undoing! Because in a live performance you should know, what to do, if something goes wrong. Carl Verheyen once told me, his motto is “I refuse to suck!”. Following this motto, I practice the worst case…. This Loop Station Tutorial will give you the best start with overdub and undo.
