Los Machetes- Percussion Rhythm builder uses rhythm patterns with quarter note, paired eighth notes and quarter rest. Instrument groups are suggestions only. Use any available instruments. Instruments pictured in the video- Group 1 claves / rhythm sticks, Group 2 tambourines, Group 3 maracas/ shakers, Group 4 guiros. Students also learn about Form while following marked sections A, B, C. Section A- Each part plays their rhythm pattern solo. Part B- Each part plays their own rhythm pattern, but all groups play simultaneously, following the music. Part C- All groups play the same pattern together- Unison The music speeds up towards the end. This video is made for education purposes only.
