Lost in Space Engineers Server Update

A quick update on the Lost in Space Engineers survival server — moving from vanilla to a Torch server, new server settings, and a Discord bot that reports server and player activity. The server originally launched as a vanilla dedicated server on 02/22/2026, and a couple of other engineers joined during the first few days. Since then I have migrated the server to a Torch server to allow for better management and stability. Some current server configuration details: • Server restarts at 11:55 and 23:55 MDT • Daily cleanup removes very small grids without beacons (if you love it, beacon it) • Forgiving grid cleanup settings: grids under 10 blocks without a beacon or within 1,000m of an active player may be removed • AFK timeout currently set to 120 minutes I have also created a Discord server with a bot that reports server status and player activity such as when someone joins or leaves the game. Discord invite: https://discord.gg/rGPgDzg965 I’m not actively recruiting players, but if anyone wants to jump in and try a fresh survival start, I’d definitely enjoy the company. My only suggestion would be to start with as little as possible and build everything you end up having. If you do join the Discord, feel free to share screenshots of what you build or your progress.
