Loeweinstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment – Geriatrics
Elderly can be assessed with the original LOTCA, but the LOTCA-G version compensates for normal aging process of slowing performances and sensorimotor difficulties.
The criteria for changes made in the geriatric version are as following:
- Enlarging item to reduce vision and motor coordination difficulties.
- Reducing detail in items for less complexity of task.
- Shorter subtests
- Adding memory subtest (LOTCA does not include any)
