Love Braid Tutorial
The Love Braid is a one of the more difficult Beginner homecoming braids. It gets 2 stars for difficulty because it requires you to maintain consistent tension on the ribbons. You'll also be manipulating very long strands of ribbon, which will cause tangles and is to be expected. Keep in mind, this is not a braid that needs to be creased. The ribbons are bent or FOLDED over but never creased. Practice this braid with shorter lengths of ribbon. A yard of each color will be a great start, working up to 5 yards per ribbon to make a 36" long braid. Perfect for gluing on trinkets, cutouts, bows and bells. I prefer to use satin acetate ribbon and diamond dust for this braid. Supplies needed: #5 (7/8" wide) ribbons. 3 pieces 5 yds long Stapler Ruler Scissors #homecomingmums #diycrafts #tutorials #homecoming
