Ok, so this is like the fifth or sixth video I've done using this song, but come on, it's Jim and Pam. This song fits this couple more than anything.
So Jim is in love with Pam and she knows it but essentially ignores it. When Jim tries to put it out there, she makes it awkward and walks away. He's hurt that she won't give him a chance but he tries again and manages to tell her. Pam just can't reciprocate the feelings even though she loves him too. She regrets her choice and tells Jim on Beach Day.
