In this video I'm going to be looking at various controller cards and hard drives and go through the proces of low level formatting them.
Each controller card has its own way of doing things, and the goal of this video is to show you some of the differences, explain a little bit of theory regarding hard disk geometry, and how it relates to low level formatting in both MFM and RLL encoding.
