In this video from The Strength Institute we go over Low Squat Holds (Barbell)! This is the big brother and the more advanced variation of your standard low squat holds (generally done with body-weight or by holding light weights). The barbell low squat holds hit the same muscle groups (adductors, quads, hip flexors and posterior chain) while at the same time requiring the lifter to maintain a strong squatting position through the upper body and torso.
