LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) Keywords are conceptually similar concepts used by search engines to provide a deep understanding of content on a web page. Why are LSI Keywords Important? In SEO's early days, Google and other search engines will find out the subject of a website based on the keywords used on the website 100%. And if Google saw again and again the term "Content Marketing," they would say: "Apparently this article is about content marketing." Therefore keyword density back in the day was so significant. If you didn't use a lot of times for your keyword, Google wouldn't realize that your page was about that phrase. Fast forward to the present day and Google is a lot smarter.
