Luke Chapter 16 Bible Study
In Gospel of Luke chapter 16, Jesus teaches powerful truths about stewardship, money, the condition of the heart, and eternity. He begins with the parable of the dishonest manager, showing how the people of this world often act with more urgency for temporary things than believers do for eternal things. Jesus teaches that what we do with little reveals what can be trusted with much, and that no one can serve both God and money. The chapter then shifts as Jesus confronts the religious leaders, exposing outward righteousness that hid pride, greed, and hardened hearts. He reminds them that God sees beyond appearances and looks directly at the heart. Luke 16 closes with the story of the rich man and Lazarus — a sobering picture of eternity, compassion, and spiritual blindness. While the rich man lived in comfort and ignored the suffering at his gate, Lazarus was carried into comfort after death. Jesus reveals the eternal consequences of rejecting God, ignoring truth, and living only for this world. The chapter is ultimately a call to faithful stewardship, humility, repentance, and living with eternity in mind. #luke16 #biblestudy #jesus #gospelofluke #christianyoutube #faith #biblebreakdown #scripture #jesuschrist #kingdomofgod #parable #christian #holyspirit #bibleteaching #eternity #god #truth #christiancreator #dailybread #walkwithgod
