The M4 Recce Gen 2 (aka NSW Recce) was originally fielded by DEVGRU/NSW in the mid to late 90s. Since then it has become iconic for its role as a lightweight / midrange fighting rifle. It uses a 16.5" barrel and the Allen Engineering M4-Recce (M4-R) suppressor.
