In interesting time we live.
The virus comes and forces us to physically disconnect from each other, yet to get even closer on a different, higher level. We in Ma'ayan band saw this as an opportunity to create our next piece using the unique tool that is distance. We came up with an ancient Ma'ariv Service tune in the new cover - Maavir Banav.
The song is telling the Passover story of Israelites being led through the depths of the Red sea to their freedom. For us it resembles with the idea of leaving all redundancy we've created through generations behind and aim all our efforts towards building a new existence, a new future of commonality, care and love towards one another.
We plan to release it on Apr 4th. Stay tuned.
