While I can't say this one is a classic like DYRL or even Macross Plus if I am honest, this one is easily my favorite of the Macross OVAs. I revisit this one fairly often. In many ways I am surprised how well this one holds up animation wise especially when stuff like Last Exile (a great series btw) had CG work that comparatively speaking hasn't aged as well....
