The former Southern Pacific main line through the Tehachapi Mountains snakes along a creek bed, the same route followed later by California State Highway 58. This video is a collection of scenes shot near Marcel siding almost twenty years ago. And some of these scenes can never be re-created because of recent property development on what was once vacant land.
