In this video we describe some of the routine maintenance and ‘future proofing’ you can perform on your vintage Sequential Circuits Pro-One analog mono synth. In this video we describe some of the more routing cleaning and lubrication of the switches and potentiometers and walk you through the relatively small number of electrolytic capacitors you might be thinking about replacing. We’ll do a few experiments to see if the tantalum capacitors in the power supply should be replaced with aluminum electrolytics, we’ll rewire the AC power section and finish off by replacing the old side cheeks and badges with new ones.
